RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CDBGAC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Weld County Community Development
Block Grant Advisory Committee (CDBGAC) will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Nicholas Wharton to said board as a Municipality Representative, Cheryl Powell to said board as
a Municipality Representative, and Jodi Hartmann to said board as a Housing Provider
Representative, all with terms to expire November 1, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Nicholas Wharton, Cheryl Powell, and Jodi Hartmann, be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Weld County Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee
(CDBGAC), all with terms to expire November 1, 2026.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of October, A.D., 2023.
