RESOLUTION

RE: OPENING OF PORTIONS OF COUNTY ROADS NOS. 16. 5, 18,
•
45. 5' and 47.
WHEREAS, a petition has been received in the office of the Board
of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, requesting that
certain portions of County Roads be opened to serve the necessities of
the public, more specifically described as follows, to-wit:
That portion of County Road No. 47 running north
between Sections 35 and 36, and between the South-
. west Quarter (SWI) of Section 25 and the Southeast
Quarter (SE4) of Section 26; also that portion of
east-west County Road No. 16. 5 between the North-
east Quarter. (NE4) and the Southeast Quarter (SE4)
of said Section 26 to the center of said Section 26;
also, that portion of north-south County Road No.
- 45. 5 between the Northeast Quarter (NE4) and the
Northwest Quarter (NW4) •of said Section 26 to the North
line of said Section 26, as presently evident and
. established by usage; also that portion of east-west
County.Road No. 18 between the Southwest Quarter
(SW4) of Section 23 and the Northwest Quarter
(NW4) of Section 26; all in Township 2 North, Range
65 West of the Sixth P. M. , Weld County, Colorado,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, after investigation of the facts and circumstances of the
petition and request for opening of portions of said roads, and upon good
cause shown, believes it to be in the best interests of the County to
open said roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by 'the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that those certain portions of
County Roads in Weld County, Colorado, as hereinabove described, be,
and they hereby are.declared open.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of '
May A. D. , 1974..

ROAD PETITION
TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO.
GENTLEMEN:
We, the undersigned, citizens and/or landowners of your
County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require
that a public highway be.constructed, pursuant to and in accordance
with that Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, passed and adopted on- the 12th day
of October, A.D. , 1889; also those portions of existing roadways
within Section 26 as hereinafter described. •
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be con-
structed a public highway as below described.
That portion ofCounty Road No. 47 running North
between Sections 35 and 36, and between the South-
west Quarter (SW4) of Section 25 and the Southeast •
Quarter (SE-I-) of Section 26; also that portion of east-
west County Road No. 16. 5 between the Northeast
Quarter (NE4) and the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of
Section 26 to the center of said Section 26; also that
portion of north-south County Road No. 45. 5 between
the Northeast Quarter (NE4—) and the Northwest
Quarter (NW4) of said Section 26 to the north line of
said Section 26, as presently evident and established
by usage; also that portion of east-west County Road
No. 18 between the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of •
Section 23 and the Northwest Quarter (NW 4) of
Section 26; all in Township 2 North, Range 65 West
of the Sixth P. M. , Weld- County, Colorado.
