RE: ACCEPT REQUEST TO WITHDRAW APPLICATION FOR A SITE SPECIFIC
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR23-0010,
FORA KENNEL AND TRAINING FACILITY (DOG TRAINING AND BOARDING
FACILITY FOR UP TO 60 DOGS) IN A SUBDIVISION OR HISTORIC TOWNSITE
(CARMACAR RANCHETTES), IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
DEVON WEINSTEIN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 28th day of
June, 2023, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board, for the purpose of hearing
the application of Devon Weinstein, 1965 Mountain View Street, Erie, Colorado 80615, for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR23-0010, for a Kennel and
Training Facility (dog training and boarding facility for up to 60 dogs) in a subdivision or historic
townsite (Carmacar Ranchettes) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described
real estate, to -wit, and:
Lot 4, Block 1 of Carmacar Ranchettes; being part of
Section 5, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the
6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing, the Board was presented with an email, received on June 1,
2023, from the applicant requesting the withdrawal of the application, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and all of the exhibits and
evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to grant the
applicant's request and thereby accept the withdrawal of the application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request of Devon Weinstein to withdraw the application for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR23-0010, for a Kennel and
Training Facility (dog training and boarding facility for up to 60 dogs) in a subdivision or historic
townsite (Carmacar Ranchettes) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the parcel of land
described above, be, and hereby is, accepted and the matter is dismissed.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
