The advertised bid was for conducting two electronics recycling events in the county. One event will be
located in Greeley in late October and other in Fort Lupton in early November.
The bid selected was for IT Refresh (Onsite Electronics Recycling) as they were the low bid of the vendors who
submitted a complete application.

Summar
On September 20, 2023, we received 3 bids for bid #B2300184 for two Electronics Recycling events that
will be hosted in Weld County. The bids were evaluated on the following: cost, data is properly
destroyed, completeness of bid and other (recycling and disposal).

Overall recommendation
Two companies submitted complete bids to evaluate (IT Refresh and Data Destruction), and so while
although 3R Tech may have been low bid they were not considered.
We are recommending IT Refresh for the following reasons:
1) They were low bid of the vendors who submitted a complete application.
2) We worked with this vendor previously and had good experience.
3) They are disposing of materials in a positive way and meet our needs for data destruction.
4) They are familiar with the Greeley site and will be prepared for flow (and given the tight
turnaround time this will be advantageous).
