II. I the last named point being the terminus thereof,and the road as above laid out and viewed being over the most prarticable ante which we. io our judg- ment,can find. We found it necessary to make the following changes in the proposed route as prayed for,via.: Ch account of the extremely unfavorable teecoraphy of that part cf the proposed road on the Ccunt7 Line between .geld and Ado e Counties which is the township line on the south side of Section .de. 31 tcvmship 1 North Range 68 Sect, it was decided that the said mile on the said line he disallowed. A lengthy search of all matters pertaining to the getting. of r/ors for this project show no light on the matter ea pt letters' from H. J •rWinter dated at Lyons'August 24, 1938 to the Board of County Commissioners in which he advises that, among other parcels on the list he advises we should purchase 1.21 acres in Section 34-1-68 from Louie K. Mulford who was then the own'r of the SW}: Sec. 34-1-68 and Who sold it' to Collett May 1 ;1939. The State Highway Department- is building a road across from' Highway 185 on th•e county line between Adams and Weld and extending through Boulcer county to State Highway 87. , Construction is on a wide 100 foot right of .way which helps eliminate steep and deep side ditches. Culverts and bridges are all built with the idea of per- manency and side drains and approaches left in number-one condition. Ditches; drops and checks which must be moved will be rebuilt- and left• in as good or better condition • than that in which they were found. . ~ - A rood steel-post fence with ib ur wire and stays , • woven wire where you now have woven wire, will replace your present- fence, You can use the present-, fence • material elsewhere. - -We have found land owners willing to deed the , • needed right of way in return for the benefits to be had from such a high class road and the new fence. This policy • has been followed wherever oiled roads hive been co structed in western Weld ecunty and additional right of way needed. Property owners on the oiled road from Ft.Lupton West, and on the oiled mad from Windsor South, as well as those ,on Highway 185, cooperated in similar fashion. We could do you a double favor by building this road and at the same time paying a fancy ,price for your land. Property owners on the oiled road from Ft.Lupton West, and on the oiled road from Windsor South, as well .as those on Highway 185, cooperated in similar fashion. The State Highway Department is building a road across from highway 185 on the county line between Adams and Weld and extending through Boulder county to,State Highway 87. Construction is on a wide 100 foot right of way which helps to eliminate steep and deep side ditches. Culverts and bridges are all built with the idea of per- manency and side drains 'and approaches left in number-one condition. Ditches, drops and checks which must be moved will be rebuilt and left in as good or better condition/ than that in which they were found. - A good steel-post fence with four wires and stays, woven wire where you now have woven wire, will replace - your present fence. You can use the present fence material elsewhere. - ,,e have found land owners willing to deed the ,needed might of way in return for the benefits to' be had from such a high class road and the new fence. This policy has been followed wherever oiled roads have been constructed in western Weld county and additional right of way needed. Property owners on t' e oiled read from Ft.Lupton West, and on the oiled road from Windsor South, as well as those on Highway 185, cooperated in similar fashion. We could do you a double favor by building this road and at the sane time paying a fancy price for your land. The State Highway $epartmentat building a road across from highway 185 On the *bustyline between Adams and Weld and extending through Boulder county to State Highway 87. Construction is on a wide 100 foot right of way which helps to eliminate steep and deep side ditches. Culverts and 'bsidgel are all built with the idea of per- manency and side drains and approaches left in number-one • condition. Ditches,, drops end checks which must be moved will will be: rebltflt and left in as good or better condition than that -in wkioh they were found. • A good steel-post fence with four wires and stays, woven wire where you now have woven wire, will replace your present fence. You can: use the present fence material elsewhere. ,We have have found land owners willing to deed the needed right. of way in return for the benefits to be had from such a high class road wad the new fence. This policy has been followed wherever oiled roads have been constructed in western Weld,county and additional right of way needed. Property owners on the oiled road from ?t.Lupton West, and on the oiled road frog Windsor South, as well as those on Highway 186, cooperated in similar fashion. We could do you a double favor by building this road and at the same tins paying a faulty price for your lend. We do not believe that a sensible way to spend road money and believe you will agree with us.
