Increase WOGLA fee to $ 12, 500, add Sundry Fee o t3 oa C Crazy / innovative idea — do away with WOGLA fee(s) all-together. Create a yearly fee that would be tied to the company ' s Operator Registration form, which is a form required by code already . The yearly fee would be based on a specific company ' s well count in the county . This would be helpful, as we field calls from residents and companies regarding locations that are historic, and have no tie to a WOGLA what-so-ever. As the local experts for the county, we should do our best to assist our residents and companies with the best customer service possible, and respond to these inquiries even for locations that we do not have permits for. This means that we spend time on these items, with no cost recovery . If we did a yearly registration fee, and have it a tiered approach based on how many active wells the company has in Weld, then this may be a unique way to recover cost, provide great customer service, and not be dependent on permit fees for budgeting . This would make the yearly budget much more predictable . Here ' s the snip from OGED code (Ch. 21 ), that I would like to propose go to Ch. 5 .
