Thus, the Targeted Grant provides additional financial resources to counties that opt -in to participate in this project. As a result, the Department has reviewed and approved a proposed project with your county as listed below. FY 2022-23 County Grant Program Proposed Project Proposed Project Weld County to intends to utilize funding to implement HCPF IM 23-012 Total Requested Amount $26,750.00 Targeted Grant Program Contact Andie Garnand FY 2022-23 County Grant Program Grant Determination Awarded Amount $26,750.00 Weld Additional Notes: The Department has determined issuance of an Intergovernmental Grant Agreement (IGGA) is not necessary. This Notice of Determination will serve for audit purposes. Activities must occur, and funding expended, no later than June 30, 2023. Audits and Sanctions for inappropriate expenditures are detailed in Appendix D: County Grant Program Conditions of Funding and Monitoring Plan. Documentation shall be kept by the county per existing guidance for expenditures charged to this CFMS code. Counties must follow existing federal requirements regarding the expenditure of federal funds and must ensure compliance with payroll rules. Counties should consult with the county's legal counsel or financial staff with questions regarding federal and state tax withholding of any staff bonuses. Counties are required to use the M211.5400 code in the County Financial Management System (CFMS) to charge eligible expenditures. The targeted grant project was approved by the Department. The Department thanks all counties for their hard work and continued dedication to serving Coloradans during the Public Health Emergency (PHE). The Department encourages all counties to participate in future grant projects, if funding is approved by the General Assembly.
