RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County,Colorado,and
WHEREAS,on December 6,2023,the Board of Weld County Commissioners approved
Amended Bylaws for the Human Services Advisory Commission,which included updates to
language concerning term dates being transferred to appointments as standing positions for
members of said board,and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists and the terms for certain positions on the Human
Services Advisory Commission will soon expire,and
WHEREAS,the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Kelly Martinez to said board as the Elected Officials Designee,as a standing position,and
WHEREAS,the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
the following designees to said board,all as standing positions:
Elizabeth Barber
Adam Turk
Stephanie Foos
Lisa Taylor
Stanley Graffis
Stacey Casteel
Tammy Phillips
Jodi Hartmann
Stephanie Gausch
Enita Kearns-Hout
Tom Teixeira
Ernest Cienfuego-Baca
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Kelly Martinez, be, and hereby is, appointed, and the above list of
designees,be,and hereby are,reappointed,to the Human Services Advisory Commission,all as
standing positions.
