RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists and the terms for certain positions on the Planning
Commission will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Virginia Guderjahn to said board as the At -Large Representative, with a term to expire July 31,
2026, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Gary White to said board as the District 1 Representative; and reappoint Michael Wailes to said
board as the At -Large Representative, both with terms to expire July 31, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Virginia Guderjahn be, and hereby is, appointed; and Gary White and
Michael Wailes be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Planning Commission, all with terms to
expire July 31, 2026.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of July, A.D., 2023.
