Hi Torn, Our East Colorado SBDC worked with Jorge Borrego, helping him create a business plan with at least some minimum financial information that he can work with and continue to successfully operate his trucking company within the northern Weld region. It was a very new process for Jorge and Liliana to work on this type of a process. They have learned the importance of the planning process and the goal setting process. I am going to continue to work with them to continue to add more details to the planning process as well as the projecting which will align with their yearly goals. They have an accountant that helps them focus their financials at least they are keeping their books in order, which gave me great encouragement for future growth and how to plan for future outcomes. They have completed the major components of the business plan( attached). They will continue to need in-depth business plan information about their industry and directions to future outcomes with relevant data to drive their goals. I will continue to provide them with consulting on their goals and objectives, target market, marketing strategies and financial components that will include sales forecasts, cashflow projections and will provide them with essential data that can help them towards high probability of success. Overall, this business plan is a good start for them and their trucking business and for the intended outcome and implementation of their business.
