Your agency has been awarded the project(s) listed below as part of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Regional and/or Subregional Share Calls for Projects. For reference, information on these Calls for Projects, including your submitted application and supplemental documentation, is posted here. Note that any projects submitted by your agency in either of these two calls not listed below have not been selected for funding at this time. Awarded projects have now been amended into the current FY 2022-2025 TIP as displayed on our online TRIPS database. Keep in mind that the information currently shown is for the FY 2022-2025 TIP, however a new FY 2024-2027 TIP is currently under development and much of your project information may roll over to that TIP upon adoption next autumn. Next Steps Please reach out to Maria Hajiaghaee (maria.hajiaghaee@state.co.us) in CDOT Region 1, or Bryce Reeves (bryce.reeves@state.co.us) in CDOT Region 4, to find out the CDOT Local Agency Coordinator (LAC) assigned to your project(s). The LAC will work with you to begin the process to draft your Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA). This process generally takes between 4-9 months, so it is imperative to begin as soon as possible. Be aware that your agency must commit the necessary local matching funds at the time you execute your IGA with CDOT. Please also familiarize yourself with your agency's responsibilities in managing a federal -aid project. Per DRCOG's delays policy, your agency is responsible for beginning each phase within the federal fiscal year indicated on the table below. Inclusion of a project in the TIP also represents a commitment by the local agency to complete, at a minimum, the scope identified in the TIP. Any additional funding necessary to complete the project scope beyond the already identified DRCOG allocation in the TIP must be borne by the project sponsor. Please reference CDOT's Local Agency Manual, as well as the DRCOG and CDOT slides from the TIP trainings, for additional details on the requirements related to managing your federal -aid project(s). Please note that your project(s) have been awarded federal Multimodal Transportation and Mitigation Options Funds - American Rescue Plan Act (MMOF-ARPA) funding. In addition to your obligations under the DRCOG delays policy, MMOF-ARPA funds come with the following expiration deadlines: funding must be obligated no later than December 31, 2 2024 and fully expended no later than December 31, 2026. It is very important that you work closely with CDOT to ensure that your project meets these deadlines so that you do not risk your project funding expiring. Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact DRCOG staff at tipapplications@drcog.org or your CDOT Local Agency Coordinator.
