RL. Signing of the Association Constitution
Dear Council Representative;
Those of you who were present at the HPPLS meeting in Fort Mor2;an
on April 22 , decided that you yourselves would take the corrected constitu-
tion to the legislative authority in your town for signature, since you were
familiar with the matter and could be of assistance in explaining it. The
State Library has now approved the corrections as we have made them.
There are two minor changes in the wording of the document . On
page 2, the second sentence under Article III has been corrected. On page
5, in item #8 several words have been omitted. The format for the signature
page has been made official.
Please request that the two corrected pages enclosed be inserted
in the copy of the Constitution held in the official town file, and the two
incorrect pages destroyed. If your town does not have a copy of the Consti-
tution, please inform us and we will forward one.
The signature page is to be completed and returned to us as
soon as possible. Please have the Mayor or the Legislative Authority,
as the case may be, sign on the top, right-hand blank. Place the town or
city seal in the space provided, unless your town does not have one. The
signature of an authoritative witness is required above the date.
If you should run into any problems or have any questions, do
not hesitate to call us.
