MEMORANDUM
TO: Clerk to the Board DATE: July 17, 2023
FROM: Amy Mutchie, Public Works Department
SUBJECT: BOCC Agenda Item
Weld County Public Works is requesting approval from the board for an extension for the closure on
WCR 8 between WCR 49 and WCR 51. The original closure dates were June 26, 2023, through July 31,
2023. Public Works would like to extend this project to open on August 11, 2023, due to supply chain
delays in purchasing the culvert as well as irrigation water levels being too high for the work to be
completed.
