CHILD CARE PROVIDER APPRECIATION DAY
MAY 12, 2023
WHEREAS, Weld County and our community partners as well as other organizations
nationwide are recognizing Child Care Providers on Friday, May 12, 2023; and
WHEREAS, childcare provides a safe, nurturing environment for the enrichment and
development of children, and is a vital force in our economy; and
WHEREAS, childcare providers are indispensable for the well-being and economic security
of Weld County's young children, families, and communities; and
WHEREAS, our future depends on the quality of the early childhood experiences provided
to young children today; support for high -quality childcare represents a worthy commitment
to our children's future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, by the Board of Weld County Commissioners
that May 12, 2023, be known as Child Care Provider Appreciation Day and urges all citizens
to recognize Child Care Providers for their important and essential work in the lives of our
children.
