WHEREAS, the UNION PA CIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY has
tendered to the County of Weld, State of Colorado, an EXTENSION
RIDER to agreement whereby the UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COM-
PANY granted to Weld County the right to use the Railroad Company's
right-of-way as a site for storage and mixing of land repair material
at Ault, Colorado, extending said original agreement and extension
thereof to and including November 30, 1979; said EXTENSION RIDER
referring to the original agreement and subsequent extension thereof
being identified in the records of the UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY as Audit No. A-65330-Land Department No. M-43465; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, has said proposed agreement before it and has
given it careful review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said
County of Weld, State of Colorado, will be subserved by the acceptance
of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the terms of
the agreement submitted by the UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
as aforesaid be, and the same hereby are accepted on behalf of Weld
County, Colorado.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Board
of County Commissioners of said County hereby is authorized, empowered
and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said County, and that
the County Clerk hereby is authorized and directed to attest said agree-
ment and to attach to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified
copy of this resolution.

Special Provisions: Effective December 1, 1974, the Lessee shall pay to
the Lessor rental at the rate of Sixty-seven Dollars ($67.00) per
annum, payable annually in advance, in lieu of the rental of Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) per annum heretofore stipulated .

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY has
tendered to the COUNTY OF WELD, State of Colorado, an agree-
ment extending to and including November 30, 1979, the term
of that certain lease dated December 1, 1948, as extended,
whereby the Railroad Company leased to the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, a portion of its right of way at Ault,
Weld County, Colorado, for storage and mixing of road repair
material; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County Colorado __ has said proposed agree-
ment before it and has given it careful review and consider-
ation; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests
of said County of y 1d, State L.Co1orado___.
will be subserved by the acceptance of said agreement ;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
