APPRECIATION OF SERVICES RENDERED
MRS. CARL AMEN
WELD COUNTY FAIR BOARD:
Commissioner Anderson offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did appoint Mrs. Carl Amen
as a member of the Weld County Fair Board; and
WHEREAS, Mrs, Amen has served continuously on this Board with distinction
and by her wise counsel has contributed greatly in public service to the County
as a member of said Board.
NOVA THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby express its appreciation to Mrs.
Carl Amen for her faithful service rendered, having been most beneficial to the
Board of County Commissioners, to the taxpayers of Weld County and to the patrons
of the Weld County Fair.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote: D �Q �'!J

Manager of Weld County Fair
The terms of five members of the Weld County Fair Board
will expire on December 31, 1972.
They are: Mrs. Carl Amen, Loveland
Mrs. Eugene Gibbs, Evans
John Long, Greeley
Dr. E. H. Scheel, Greeley
Walter Sidwell, Carr
A nomination committee of the Fair Board has presented ten
candidates for the board to vote upon. As a result of the poll,
the members wish to recommend the following people to the Commissioners
for your acceptance for a three year term expiring December 31, 1975.
They are listed in order of popular ballot.

5. Harold Herbst, Galeton
The Fair Board would appreciate your action on these
appointments by early December. The board has planned for its
annual meeting on January 8, 1973 at which time they elect
next years officers. It is possible that one of these five new
appointees will be nominated for office at that meeting.
