The application states they will be utilizing existing bathrooms inside a structure already on site. Based on the map provided this facility appears to be the Ag building permitted under AGR24-0199. This permit does not have bathrooms called out, nor were there permits pulled for the bathrooms. Based on the drawings associated with AGR24-0199 there is no bathroom called out. In addition to that there is no septic permitted on site. Planning is recommending the following be completed prior to any events being held on site. 1. AGR24-0199 must be permitted property as an accessory structure. This will properly permit the unpermitted alterations such as the bathrooms. 2. If bathrooms are present, a septic permit must be applied for and submitted to Public Health and Environment. As part of the application review process, the Clerk to the Board's Office provides various departments with a copy of your complete application packet and requests referral review comments. During this process, the Department of Planning Services (DPS) provided the comments: The application states the applicant will be utilizing existing bathrooms inside a structure already on site. Based on the map provided of this facility, DPS is assuming this is the Ag building permitted under AGR24-0199. This permit does not have bathrooms called out, nor were there permits pulled for the bathrooms. Based on the drawings associated with AGR24-0199, there is no bathroom called out. In addition to that there is no septic permitted on site. DPS recommends the following to be done prior to the first event, if the Special Event Permit is approved by the Weld County Board of Commissioners: 1. AGR24-0199 must be permitted properly as an accessory structure. This will properly permit the unpermitted alterations such as the bathrooms. 2. If bathrooms are present, a septic permit must be applied for and submitted to Public Health and Environment. Last year when we were going through the stepson whether this event needed permitted or not was soon after we established the permit type. So, with that being said I am curious of more details regarding this event and the others. I understand you may feel there is some redundancy, but we need to ensure all aspects of the event are accounted for through both the liquor license and Limited Event Permit (LEP). USR-1770 is specifically fora Commercial Recreation Facility (baseball field). This does not open it up to allow different style of events, this still needs to be accounted for in some capacity. Please provide me a breakdown of each event. If they are all identical, great just elaborate on that. I need the following questions answered related to the LEP: 1. How many individuals will be in attendance? 2. Haw is the event being funded? In other words, how is attendance handled? 3. What is the timeline associated with each event? How many days per event? I've attached the license for reference. When we met with the commissioners on Monday, we definitely let then know this was the remaining piece. We would like to go the port -a -potty route to meet the needs of the events. Attached is the July invoice for the service Bigfoot already pays for, and they will be there for all the events we outlined in our request. Does this meet the need? Good afternoon, As part of the application review process, the Clerk to the Board's Office provides various departments with a copy of your complete application packet and requests referral review comments. The Department of Planning Services can be contacted at: Maxwell Nader, Planning Manager (970) 400- 3527 mnasly@weld.gov The Department of Public Health and Environment can be contacted at: Katie Sall (970)400-2216 ksaLl@weld.gQv Christopher McDonald (970) 400-2219 cmcdonaldLas_eLd.gov If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
