RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Larry E. Higgins, 2119 5th Street, Greeley, Colo-
rado, 80631, has requested permission to locate a commercial rabbit
feeding operation on the following described property, to-wit:
A parcel of land located in the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW'INW,'-)
of Section Six (6), Township Five (5) North,
Range Sixty-five (65) West of the Sixth P. M. ,
Weld County, Colorado, containing one acre,
more or less, and
WHEREAS, the said requested location for a commercial rabbit
feeding operation is located in an agricultural zone as set forth by the
Weld County Zoning Resolution, and
WHEREAS, according to Section 3. 3(3) of the Zoning Resolution
of Weld County, said commercial rabbit feeding operation may be author-
ized on the approval of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission, by resolution
dated May 5, 1970, has recommended that said site for the commercial
rabbit feeding operation be denied on the grounds that said site is incom-
patible to the future development of the area and that the size of the oper-
ation was too great for the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the application of
Larry E. Higgins, 2119 5th Street, Greeley, Colorado, 80631, for a
commercial rabbit feeding operation on the premises indicated above be,
and it hereby is denied.
