Approve Signatory Authority and Delegation of Signatory Authority for Weld
County Housing Authority (WCHA) to sign any necessary Housing Authority
Documents
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners serves as the Weld County Housing
Authority Board, and
Whereas, the previous Executive Director of the Weld County Housing Authority Board
retired, and
Whereas, to maintain Housing Authority business operations, the Housing Authority
Board needs to delegate signatory authority, and
Whereas, the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance recommends the Housing
Authority Board delegate the Chair of the Board of Weld County Commissioners, the
Controller, and the Assistant Controller, as authorized Agents for the Weld County
Housing Authority, on behalf Weld County.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, ex -officio Housing Authority Board, that the Chair, Controller, and Assistant
Controller, be, and hereby are, granted signatory authority and delegation of signatory
authority to sign any necessary Housing Authority documents.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 27th day of January, A.D., 2025:
