I have received minimal complaints or concerns during the past year from departmental subscribers, the County is statutorily required to publish certain notices and media payables in a newspaper of general circulation, with "an office within Weld County to gather news, sell advertising, or conduct the general business of newspaper publications", and there is no change in rates over 2024. Because the other bidder does not meet the statutory requirement of an office within Weld County, and has submitted a substantially higher bid, I have no concern with continuing to conduct business with The Greeley Tribune, at this time.
