The 107th Weld County Fair is here, and the board of commissioners is extremely excited to welcome
you to this fantastic event that honors our community's FFA and 4-H Club members.
Agriculture has been and remains a staple of Weld County. It serves as a livelihood for many of our
families, which in turn, helps feed, clothe and enrich us. It gives 4-H and FFA youth a means to secure
knowledge and capabilities used both inside and outside the agriculture industry,
Through various projects such as home economics, horticulture, rocketry, robotics and raising and
showing livestock, the fair allows youth to build off the county's rich agricultural roots. The fair
participants learn new skills such as goal setting, public speaking and presenting in a professional
setting. Fair not only helps them succeed today but also helps positively shape them as future
agriculturalists.
Thank you, FFA and 4-H Club leaders, for growing the next generation in agriculture by instilling them
with hard work, dedication, responsibility and leadership. Thank you, parents, sponsors and attendees,
for supporting Weld County youth participating in the fair. Thank you, Fair Board, Extension Office staff
and your respective committees, for making the Weld County Fair a success for the past 106 years.
