WHEREAS, heretofore and on August 28 , 1974 , the Board
of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, by Resolution
did extend certain mineral leases in Weld County in favor of
Amoco Production Company, per copy of said Resolution attached
for ready reference and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS , it has now come to the attention of the
Board that certain leases contained in the aforementioned
Resolution were erroneously or inadvertently requested by
Amoco Production Company, the present owner of said leases ,
even though same had been drilled and included in units ,
thereby holding them by production, and
WHEREAS, the leases in question that were either
erroneously or inadvertently requested to be renewed by Amoco
Production Company cover the following:
1. S'NE4 of Section 26 and the North 40
feet of the South 340 feet of the
NW4 of Section 31, all in Township 2
North, Range 67 West, containing a
total of 82 . 43 acres.
2. The WiNW4 of Section 20 , Township 3
North, Range 66 West, containing
80 acres.
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the renewal
leases covering the above-mentioned minerals were either
erroneously or inadvertently requested by Amoco Production
Company and approved by the Board, and that said moneys
received by Weld County in the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred
Twenty-Four and 30/100ths ($1, 624. 30) should be refunded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, and it hereby authorizes
and directs the Weld County Treasurer to refund to Amoco
Production Company the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty
Four and 30/100ths Dollars ($1, 624 . 30) covering the afore-
mentioned minerals which were either erroneously or inadvert-
ently included in the request of Amoco Production Company for
extension.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27
day of November, A.D. , 1974.

AUTHORIZE EXTENSION OF LEASING
COUNTY MINERAL LANDS TO
AMOCO PRODUCTION COMPANY
TWO (2) YEARS EXTENSION - APRIL 29 , 1977 :
WHEREAS , the County of Weld, State of Colorado, is the
owner of vast acres of mineral lands in Weld County, and
WHEREAS , said minerals are presently leased until
April 29, 1975 to Leland S. Vance, and
WHEREAS , said minerals were assigned by Leland S.
Vance to Amoco Production Company, and
WHEREAS, Amoco Production Company has requested a two
(2) year extension of said mineral leases, more particularly
described as follows:
Range 63 , Township 7 , Section 8 28 and 30
Range 64, Township 2 , Sections 26 ,
Range 64, Township 4 , Section 27
Range 64 , Township 6 , Section 12
Range 64, Township 9 , Section 18
Range 65, Township 1 , Sections 2 & 10

Dear Mr. Telep:
To confirm our telephone conversation of November 7, I am writing to
request that you ask the Board of County Commissioners to refund to Amoco
Production Company $1,624.30. The reason for this request is that we re-
newed two leases which had been drilled and included in units, holding
them by production.
The leases is question cover the following:
1. S/2 NE/4 Section 26 and North 40 feet of South 340 feet of NW/4
Section 31, all in Township 2 North, Range 67 West, containing a total of
82.43 acres.
2. W/2 NW/4 Section 20-3N-66W, containing 80 acres.
These are among the leases renewed in September, 1974, covering over
2,000 acres.
Your cooperation in this matter is surely appreciated.

WHEREAS, Amoco Production Company is the owner and holder

of the oil and gas leases described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
made a part hereof, insofar as said le,acs .,over land lying within the
unit hereinbelow designated; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Colorado acting by and through its Oil and
Gas Conservation Commission has prescribed 320-acre well units for the
production of gas and associated liquid hydrocarbons from the "J" Sand-
stone formation underlying the area in which said leases and lands are '

situated; and,
WHEREAS, each of said leases as originally written, or as heretofore

amended, authorizes the pooling and unitization thereof in the manner set ,
forth herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, in order to conform to the well pattern prescribed
ay the State of Colorado, Amoco Production Company does hereby pool and
combine said leases and lands to form a unit comprising the following de-
scribed land in Weld County, Colorado, to wit:

Section 20: N/2
for the production of gas and associated liquid hydrocarbons produced
