To Whom it May Concern:
This letter is being provided to notify you that ENGIE Distributed Renewables
Development LLC (the "Applicant") has submitted a USR Permit application to the Weld
County Department of Planning and Zoning for the proposed Keenesbu rg Solar project,
a solar project (the "Project"). The proposed Project would be located on the real
property owned by Coors Energy Company described as: Township 03, Range 64,
Section 36, of Weld County, Colorado (the "County"). County records identify you as a
mineral estate owner of a portion of the real property proposed for surface
development. This notice is being sent in accordance with the requirements of Colorado
Revised Statute 24-65.5-103.
The proposed Project USR application will be reviewed by the County Planning and
Zoning Department; however, the final decision to approve or deny the USR Permit will
be made by the Board of County Commissioners.
The USR Permit application will be heard by the Planning Commission during a public
hearing on May 6, 2025 at 1:30pm, located in the Hearing Room of Weld County
Administration Building at 1150 O Street in Greeley. It will then be heard by the Board of
County Commissioners during a public hearing on May 21, 2025, at 10:OOam, located in
the Hearing Room of Weld County Administration Building at 1150 O Street in Greeley.
Attached are the names and addresses of the mineral estate owners to whom notices
were sent in accordance with C.R.S. 24-65.5-103(1)(b).
