Bids were received and opened on January 14, 2024, for B2400157 - Communications
Cabling (FAC-1513 2024 Dispatch Remodel). One (1) bid was received at $165,065.00
with an additional cost of $11,300.00 for a total cost of $176,365.00. Attached is the
bid tabulation for your information.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all bid responses. Piper Communication
Services, Inc. out of Denver, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of $165,065.00 with
an additional cost of $11,300.00 for additional cables requested by the Communications
Dept during the walk through for a total cost of $176,365.00 and meets the needed
functionality documented in the bid process.
Based on the above information, I recommend the Board award B2400157 -
Communications Cabling to Piper Communication Services, Inc., for a total amount of
$176,365.00.
