M., Weld County, Colorado, and more particularly described in said deed Whereas, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Deed for a parcel adjacent to the Bull Seepage Ditch from the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, to the Town of Lochbuie, be, and hereby is, approved. Box 758 Greeley, CO 80631 January 16, 2025 Greetings, Mr. Barker, On October 1St, 2003, the Town of Lochbuie annexed portions of WCR 39, also adjacent to our wastewater treatment plant. Due to a failure earlier this week, it is necessary for the Town to undertake emergency repairs to the culvert that carries water in the Bull Seepage Ditch. We are currently working with FRICO and adjacent property owners as we begin the urgent repair project. We discovered that Weld County owns approximately three acres of property adjacent to WCR 39 along the Bull Seepage Ditch. Please see the attached Lehl deed. If the County no longer requires ownership of that parcel, the Town of Lochbuie will accept a deed to the property for one dollar, contingent upon formal acceptance of a quitclaim deed.
