AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TREASURER
TO ISSUE DUPLICATE TAX SALE CERTIFICATE:
WHEREAS, Tax Sale Certificate No. 220 of the 1972 Weld County
Tax Sale has been misplaced, lost or destroyed, and said Tax Sale Certificate
has not been presented in the office of the County Treasurer of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, satisfactory affidavit and bonds necessary to indemnify
and hold Weld County harmless on account of alleged loss of the original Tax
Sale Certificate have been filed in the office of the Board of Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the County Treasurer, Francis M.
Loustalet, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause a duplicate
of Tax Sale Certificate No. 220 of the 1972 Weld County Tax Sale to be
issued in favor of Donald L. or Selma L. Martin.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote:

of Weld , State of Colorado, being first duly and legally sworn upon
oath, depose and say: that ic We, are the identical person s) to whom was issued (as-
signed) Tax Certificate Numbered 220 of the 1972 Weld County Tax Sale, cover-
ing the 19_J.taxes on

Assignment being made by Donald L. or Selma L. Martin
That said (assigned) Certificate has been misplaced, lost or destroyed and
after the most careful and diligent search, X, We, cannot find the same nor can
We, produce the same for presentation for a Treasurer's or Tax Deed for the property
covered by this Certificate. That 1X, We, have not assigned or disposed of this Cer-
tificate to any other person or persons, and that I, We, are still the legal owner of
said Certificate. That X[, We, make this affidavit for the purpose of inducing the
county commissioners of said Weld County to authorize issuance by the county treasurer
of said Weld County of a new certificate, upon the condition that)A We, indemnify
said County for and on account of said lost tax sale certificate.

The condition of this obligation is such that: WHEREAS, a certain Tax Sale Cer-
tificate No. 220 of the 1972 Tax Sale of Weld County, Colorado, . issued and
signed by the then Treasurer of Weld County, State of Colorado, and assigned to
Donald L. or Selma L. Martin for the sum of $ 13 . 58 the same having been
lost, and having established by proof of said loss to the satisfaction of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, they have by proper order entered a
record authorizing the issuance of a duplicate Tax Sale Certificate by the County
Treasurer Numbered 220 of the 1972 Tax Sale with all subsequent endorsements
thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, If the said Obligors shall save the County of Weld .and keep
harmless the County and all of its officials from all damages, suits and claims" of
whatever nature, occasioned by the issuance of said duplicate Tax Sale Certificat
without the surrender of the original, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to
remain in ful force and effect.
