Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. I wanted to send this email after hearing county is once again causing delays for the Polit truck stop at 49 and 176. There has been several delays in this project by the county. The county has took long time to approve plans, and then after plans approved, they change their minds on what is going to be required stop work orders for no reason. Now there is another stop order over no permit from county (like $150 permit and delay to do permit review) This is real uncalled for when Hudson annexed the property and the rest of 49 at this property, Hudson uses the same standards as county, it is Hudson's jurisdiction Pilot hired a 3rd party inspector to check everything on a daily basis. No matter how you slice it, it is a lot of unneeded delays and requirements on Pilot costing them lots of money. Hudson has been requesting to annex a small part of WCR 10 (1/4 mile or less) for over 6months or longer. At the last 52 coalition meeting in mead was told that the paperwork for that was all done and the commissioners would sign off on the following Monday morning. It still has not been. not sure why. Was under the impression by the planning dept. that property owner of Meadow Ridge business center south of Hudson requested for a meeting on their volition and that they would keep me and or the town in the loop on when the meeting was and the outcome. The town only find out the meeting even happened was because someone with CDOT was surprised that no one from Hudson was there and let us know and to let us know where Cdot stood. Bput nothing from county on happened or what is next. For someone that has lived 45yrs in Colorado 25 of it in weld county and 15yrs of that being involved and dealing with county these latest events are very upsetting and pisses me off. Weld county is supposed to be conservative and all about supporting local rights. Weld county was always the first and loudest about complaining saying the State was always forcing there will on the county when the shouldn't and the state needed to butt out of county business. Now Weld County is doing the same thing to Hudson and the other towns in the county Matt Cole Mayor protemput nothing from county on happened or what is next. 2 For someone that has lived 45yrs in Colorado 25 of it in weld county and 15yrs of that being involved and dealing with county these latest events are very upsetting and pisses 3 Hello
