HomeMy WebLinkAbout20251755.tiffResolution Approve Permission to Enter Property Form and Authorize Chair to Sign — Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA) and Hunt, Guillot, and Associates, LLC Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and Whereas, the Board has been presented with a Permission to Enter Property Form for the Iron Mountain Getaway Feeders Project (Parcel Number 095705300004) among the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA), and Hunt, Guillot, and Associates, LLC, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said form, and Whereas, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said form, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Permission to Enter Property Form for the Iron Mountain Getaway Feeders Project (Parcel Number 095705300004) among the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA), and Hunt, Guillot, and Associates, LLC, be, and hereby is, approved. Be it further resolved by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said form. S, T5N-R67W Physical Location(s): Vacant Land Dear Weld County, Colorado, As you may be aware, Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA) is starting a new project in the area of the property listed above. The Iron Mountain Getaway Feeders project is anticipated to establish new underground electric distribution power lines out of a new substation that will support current and future customer electric power needs in the PVREA service area. The purpose of this letter is to notify you that PVREA is in the preliminary planning phase and to inform you that the above listed property may be impacted by this project. In order to assist us in determining the best alignment for PVREA facilities, we are requesting access to your property to complete survey and field design as part of the planning process. L...1VVLO P� oudre \Valley PERMISSION TO ENTER PROPERTY Project Name: Iron Mountain Getaway Feeders Mailing Address: 11 50 O St, Greeley, CO 8 06 31 Property Owner: Weld County, Colorado Property address/location: Vacant Land Line / Facility: I Pole No & Station' The undersigned property owner, owner's representative, or lessee hereby grants permission to Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC (HGA) and Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA), its contractors, agents, and all others deemed necessary by PVREA, to enter the property identified above and perform the following activities: To the extent that HGA/PVREA or its authorized representative modifies the surface of the land in any way. it shall reasonably restore the land surface to the condition that existed prior to any such modification. The attached exhibit depicts the area within the Owner's property that HGA/PVREA and its authorized representatives are entitled to enter, and if necessary, temporarily install monitoring equipment or devices. DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE DONE: ❑ Perform preliminary land surveys, including recovery of, and measurements to, horizontal and vertical survey marks; topographic survey which includes the modeling of ground terrain and the measuring and mapping of physical features; and the placement of temporary survey stakes. n Conduct preliminary environmental surveys to identify the presence of archaeological, historical, paleontological or ecological resources and perform noise or air quality measurements. These surveys may include the exterior inspection of structures and buildings; the collection of chipped stone, biological, botanical, or fossil specimens; or sampling of subsurface soil material. ❑ Perform real estate appraisal, or other physical inspections necessary to review the property, including any structures for possible acquisition. ❑ Conduct soils or hydraulics investigation, including sampling and subsurface investigation, to determine drainage characteristics, soil types or other geologic conditions or activity. ❑ The use of hand tools, drill rig, supply truck, and other assigned vehicles are usually involved in the subsurface investigation. HGA/PVREA and its authorized representatives may penetrate the land surface with equipment and temporary installation of monitoring devices. No installation is allowed that would interfere with the use and occupancy of the property by the Owner or any Lessee. Any installation of monitoring equipment or devices must be removed within months of the initial installation of such devices, unless other arrangements have been made in writing between HGA/PVREA and the Property Owner.
