VETERANS DAY
NOVEMBER 11, 2025
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, the Weld County Workforce
Development Board, and employees join to honor the service and sacrifices of our
nation's veterans, as well as the families, caregivers, and survivors who stand beside
them; and
WHEREAS, through the collaboration of the Veterans Service Office and the Weld
County Workforce Center, veterans receive integrated services, including benefits, job
training, education, and employment opportunities; and
WHEREAS, veterans enrich Weld County not only through their military service but also
as leaders, mentors, business owners, and vital contributors to a thriving workforce and
community; and
WHEREAS, Weld County remains steadfast in their commitment to ensuring that all who
served receive the recognition, respect, and opportunities they have earned through
their dedication to the country.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Weld County Board of Commissioners
hereby designates November 11, 2025, as Veterans Day in Weld County, and urges all
citizens to honor veterans by recognizing their service and sacrifice, celebrating the
protection of our freedoms, and supporting the contributions veterans bring through
diverse skills and experiences.
