Notification Act, Colorado Revised Statutes §24-65.5-101, et seq.
Zeren Land Services, searched (i) the records of the weld County Assessor relating to the Subject Property
for persons identified therein as mineral estate owners, and (ii) the records of the weld County Clerk and
Recorder relating to the Subject Property for recorded requests for notification in the form specified in
the Surface Development Notification Act. The results of these searches are set forth above in this List of

Received. Looks like you have all of the wells identified appropriately. I would advise to be cautious around the
P&Ad wells depending on how deep the mining activities will be. With topsoil, I wouldn't imagine it being a conflict,
but just something to keep in mind.

This letter is being prepared on behalf of David Hunt, who plans to mine to topsoil on approximately 276.7 acre parcel of land.
The Site is located in Weld County north of Weld County Road 40, east of the Farmers Independent Ditch, south of Weld
County Road 42 and west of Weld County Road 29. More specifically, the mine is within Section 29, Township 4 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. The site is 10,000 feet east of the South Platte River at its closest point. Land
uses in the area include agricultural, oil and gas production, active gravel mines, gravel mines reclaimed as below grade
reservoirs, and residential housing. The site and vicinity are shown on the enclosed figures. A Division of Reclamation Mining
and Safety (DRMS) permit has been approved and a proposed Use By Special Review has been submitted to Weld County.
Per Colorado Revised Statute, C.R.S. 24-65.5-103 (adopted as part of H.B.01-1088) we are required to notify all mineral
estate owners a minimum of 30 days prior to any public hearing. You are hereby notified that the Weld County Planning
Commission and Weld County Board of County Commissioners hearing dates have been set for the Hunt Dirt Mine #2 Use By
Special Review (USR24-0028) application. The dates are listed below:
• Planning Commission, Tuesday, April 1St at 1:30 PM
• Board of County Commissioners, April 16th at 10:00 AM
