Re: Hawkstone Master Association Appropriation Request
Dear Congresswoman Boebert,
We strongly encourage and support the application by the Hawkstone Master Association
to modernize their potable water system. Their appropriation request is vital to the success
of their project. As homeowner associations across Colorado develop plans to create
water efficiency, it is vital that we support them as they help deliver solutions to preserving
one of our most precious resources, that being water. The Northern Colorado area is very
dependent on trans mountain diversion water and the HOA is no different. Negotiations on
the Colorado River Compact continue to put crosshairs on water usage along the
communities in your district. This project would seriously reduce the amount of water being
used for their green space. This project also helps keep dues low for the many elderly
residents living in the neighborhood. Many times, these senior residents live pay check to
pay check and any savings they can receive helps them to meet their budgetary needs.
The Board of Commissioners hopes you will support this request to modernize and bring
efficiencies to this beautiful neighborhood. We appreciate all that you do for your district_
and Weld County communities.
