Approve Appointment and Reappointments to Planning Commission
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, a vacancy currently exists and the terms for certain positions on the Planning
Commission will soon expire, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Cole Ritchey to said board as the Advisory Board District 6 Representative, to reappoint
Barney Hammond to said board as the Advisory Board District 3 Representative, and to
reappoint Michael Biwer to said board as the At -Large Representative, all with terms to
expire July 31, 2028.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Cole Ritchey be, and hereby is, appointed, and that Barney Hammond and
Michael Biwer, be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Planning Commission, all with
terms to expire July 31, 2028.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 18th day of June, A.D., 2025:

Kevin D. Ross: Aye
