Weld County Fleet Services has reviewed all bids submitted. The lowest bidder was
McCandless Tnuck Center for $326,275.34 and did not meet bid specifications.
McCandless Tnuck Center's bid included an International S13 515 HP engine that does not
meet our specification of a Cummins 505 HP engine.
The second lowest bidder was Bruckner Truck Sales Inc. for $372,723.00 and did not meet
bid specifications. Bruckner Truck Inc. bid included a Mack MP8 455 HP engine that does
not meet our specification of a Cummins 505 HP engine.
The third lowest bidder was Transwest Trucks Inc. for $380,588.00 and met all bid
specifications.
Weld County Fleet Services recommends awarding bid # B2500048 to the third lowest
bidder, Transwest Trucks Inc. in the amount of $380,588.00 total.
