APRIL 23, 2025
WHEREAS, the University Bulldogs girls basketball team competed in the 2025 CHSAA
Class 4A state championship game against the Delta Panthers on Saturday,
March 15, 2025 at the Denver Coliseum; and
WHEREAS, in a physical game, relentless pursuit and opportunistic matchups led to a
42-35 Bulldog victory and the program's very first state title; and
WHEREAS, the offensive firepower of the Bulldogs was too much for Delta to overcome.
Senior Janay Kravig had 11 points, junior Maddie McNair had eight and senior Addison
Harding led the team with 16 points; and
WHEREAS, coach Matt Baumgartner crafted and executed a brilliant gameplan, one
that built off the Bulldog's matchup the prior year against Delta where they were also

championship and capping off an undefeated season; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners shares in the excitement of
University's state championship and commends players, coaches and parents for the
commitment shown to make this season memorable. Congratulations on an
outstanding season. The success experienced can be tied to underlying principles that
can be carried throughout life.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of Weld County Commissioners that
