Approve Appointment to Workforce Development Board
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, a vacancy currently exists on the Workforce Development Board, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Gen Spering to said board as a Business Representative, with a term to expire
December 31, 2026.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Gen Spering be, and hereby is, appointed to the Workforce Development
Board, with a term to expire December 31, 2026.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 2nd day of July, A.D., 2025:

Scott K. James, Pro-Tem: Aye
Jason S. Maxey: Aye
Lynette Peppier: Aye
Kevin D. Ross: Excused
