Action of the Board Concerning Use by Special Review Permit, USR24-0026, for
Open Mining and Processing of Minerals (aggregate mining and batch plant) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District — CAW Equities, LLC, c/o Ready Mixed Concrete, LLC
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, held a public
hearing on the 26th day of March, 2025, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of
the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of CAW Equities, LLC, 8301 East
Prentice Avenue, Suite 120, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111, c/o Ready Mixed
Concrete, LLC, 2500 East Brannan Way, Denver, Colorado 80229, for Use by Special
Review Permit, USR24-0026, for Open Mining and Processing of Minerals (aggregate
mining and batch plant) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described
real estate, to -wit:
Lot B Recorded Exemption RE -3000 being part of the SE1/4; part of the
SW1/4 and the N1/2 all of Section 20, Township 4 North, Range 66 West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
Whereas, at said hearing, the applicant was present, and
Whereas, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant for a continuance, and having been fully informed,
finds that this request be approved and the matter should be continued to April 23, 2025,
at 10:00 a.m., to allow CAW Equities, LLC, c/o Ready Mixed Concrete, LLC, adequate
time to address potential modification of Condition #1.D, (Pre -Annexation Agreement with
the Town of Gilcrest).
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to April 23, 2025,
at 10:00 a.m.

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 26th day of March, A.D., 2025:
