Approve Appointment of Commissioner Jason S. Maxey to Certain Advisory
Boards
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, it has been recommended that Commissioner Jason S. Maxey be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Federal Mineral Lease Act Board (Term ends 1/15/2028)
• Greeley -Weld County Airport Authority (Term ends 12/31/2028)
• Bright Futures Advisory Board
Whereas, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Jason S. Maxey to said
boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2025, unless otherwise noted above.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Commissioner Jason S. Maxey, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2025, unless otherwise noted above.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 6th day of January, A.D., 2025:
Perry L. Buck, Chair: Aye
Scott K. James, Pro-Tem: Aye
Jason S. Maxey: Aye
Lynette Peppier: Aye
Kevin D. Ross: Aye
