Please be advised that on June 17, 2025, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and telephone
number are 1800 N. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80521; (970) 227-4041, filed an application for a/an
Surety Release Request (SL- 1) to M2003091, Duckworth Pit, which is located approximately 6 miles
Northwest of Frederick, Section 16, Township 2N, Range 68W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Full and final release of permit.
Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained
from Patrick Lennberg at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215
Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 665-0836.
Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the
application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision
on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.

Please be advised that on February 23, 2017, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and telephone
number are 1800 N. Taft hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80521; (970)-227-4041, filed an Amendment application
to M-2003-091, Duckworth Pit, which is located at or near Section 16, Township 2N, Range 68W, 6 Principal
Meridian, in Weld County. The application decision is scheduled for May 24, 2017.

date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the
Office will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity.
