WHEREAS, it has been determined that the present property appraisal account ing in the Weld County Assessor's office and the present property tax accounting in the Weld County Treasurer's office are in need of revision and change, and WHEREAS, the Greeley National Bank is engaged in the commercial activity of computer data processing and proposes to perform such services for Weld County, and WHEREAS, the Greeley National Bank has submitted an agree- ment to perform services for Weld County in the form of property appraisal accounting for the Weld County Assessor's office and property tax accounting for the Weld County Treasurer's office, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, believes it to be in the best interest of the county to enter into such an agreement on the basis recited therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted by the Greeley National Bank providing services for Weld County in the form of property appraisal accounting for the Weld County Assessor's office and property tax accounting for the Weld County Treasurer's office, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is, authorized to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same effective forthwith. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22ndday of December, 1971. GNB pE�<2 Assessor 710477 Acctg AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this 22nd day of December, 1971, by and between THE GREELEY NATIONAL BANK OF GREELEY, COLORADO (DATA PROCESSING CENTER DIVISION), hereinafter referred to as GNB, and THE COUNTY OF WELD OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, A Political Subdivision, hereinafter referred to as Weld, WITNESSETH, THAT: WHEREAS, GNB is engaged in the commercial activity of computer data processing and proposes to perform services for Weld in the form of Property Appraisal Accounting for the Weld County Assessor's Office and Property Tax Accounting for the Weld County Treasurer's office, which is set forth on Exhibit A, and which by reference is made a part hereof, and, WHEREAS, Weld desires to employ the services of GNB for such purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual prom- ises and covenants of the parties as are hereinafter contained , and for the fur- ther consideration hereinafter stated, it is understood and agreed as follows: 1. This Agreement shall be effective for a period of one year, commencing December 1, 1971 and ending on the last day of November, 1972. 2. Exhibit A, above referred to, and attached hereto, sets forth in detailed scheduling as to dates when information is to be furnished by GNB, the type of information as described under heading "Report Name. " Said Exhibit A lists the estimated hours and the estimated cost for each type of re- port which GNB agrees to furnish. For purposes of clarification, Programming will be billed at the rate of $10. 00 per hour, and computer time will be billed at the rate of $87. 50 per metered hour. It is acknowledged by the parties hereto that Exhibit A lists only the estimated times to accomplish each report. It is mutually agreed that billings will be accomplished monthly by GNB on the basis of the estimated costs shown on Exhibit A; provided, however, that a full de- tailed statement covering the entire year's processing will be furnished to Weld with the November 30, 1972 invoice. It is understood that said statement will reflect either any reduction of the actual processing costs required, if the time consumed is less than the estimate shown on Exhibit A, and GNB represents that the billing time required for the various reports required under Exhibit A will not in any event exceed the times shown under the heading of "Estimated Hours" on said Exhibit A. 3. It is further mutually understood and agreed that in the event Weld requires additional services or reports, other than those listed on the schedule referred to as Exhibit A, GNB will separately bill Weld for such ser- vices on the basis of $10. 00 per hour for programming and $87. 50 per metered hour for computer time. The services described on Exhibit A are defined as "Run Cost. " GNB represents, per Exhibit A, that Run Cost for personal prop- erty production will not exceed 53 hours and will not exceed a total cost of $4, 637. 50, that real property production will not exceed 90 1/2 hours and will not cost in excess of $7, 918. 75; that tax accounting production will not exceed 83 1/2 hours and the cost thereof will not exceed $7, 306. 25; and that the total run cost will not exceed $19, 862. 50. 4. It is further understood and agreed by and between the parties that in order to accomplish the reports which are described on Irxhibit A, GNB is obliged to charge for the programming which is hereinafter referred to as "Systems. " GNB agrees that the System scheduling and cost thereof will not exceed the following schedules: Personal property research and maintenance at $10. 00 an hour for 100 hours, or a cost of $1, 000. 00; Real property maintenance at 25 hours and a cost of $10. 00 an hour, or a total cost of $250. 00; Tax accounting research and modifications for 180 hours at $10. 00 an hour, or $1, 800. 00. Summarizing, Systems shall not exceed in cost the sum of $3, 050. 00. In order to accomplish the necessary programming and print out the necessary reports, GNB is obliged to furnish auxiliary equipment which is hereinafter defined. The charge for such auxiliary equipment is hereinafter detailed: (a) One disk pack at $15. 00 per month or a total cost for the year of $180. 00. (b) Four magnetic tapes at $20. 00 each, or a total cost for the year of $80. 00. 5. In order to accomplish and print out the required reports, the "Input" information must be accomplished by the use of two 029 Keypunch Machines and two 059 Verifier Machines. These machines are to be operated by Weld employees. At the date of this Agreement, GNB is leasing the above described keypunch and verifier machines at a cost of $89. 00 per month, plus $2. 14 tax per month for each of the keypunch machines and $85. 00 per month, plus $2. 04 tax per month for each of the verifier machines. In the event GNB continues to lease the above described machines and furnish them to Weld, the total cost per month for performing the services hereinabove described shall not cost Weld in excess of $2, 287. 40 (exclusive of additional reports required over and above those listed on Exhibit A). It is contemplated that GNB will transfer the Leases on the two keypunch machines and the two verifier machines to Weld, in which event the latter will be obliged to pay the monthly rentals as above described. At such time as this result is accomplished, the cost of GNB's services as are hereinabove described, shall not exceed the sum of $1, 931. 04 per month (exclusive of additional services required over and above those enum- erated on Exhibit A. 6. It is further and finally understood and agreed that this Agree- ment is for a term of one year, as is hereinabove specified. The parties acknow- ledge that if GNB is to continue services in behalf of Weld beyond December 1, 1972, it will be necessary for the parties to commence negotiations for a new agreement no later than November 1, 1972 with an agreement to be executed on or before November 15, 1972.
