The Resolution was adopted at a. public meeting held on April 14, 2025, and a copy of the Resolution is enclosed with this letter. The fire impact fee will be imposed on all new buildings, structures, facilities, or improvements, including oil or gas wells and related equipment, on previously improved or unimproved real property within the District's jurisdictional boundaries (collectively, "New Development") for which a completed development permit application is submitted to the County on or after May 1, 2025; however, the District will not collect the fire impact fee before the issuance of a building permit by the County in connection with the New Development. As provided by C.R.S. § 32-1-1001(1)(d.5)(VI), the County is required to notify the District of the issuance of a building permit for the construction of New Development within the District's jurisdictional boundaries at the time of issuance. Please provide all such notices, along with contact information for the developer, to the District's FIRE MARSHAL at ttamlin@ftluptonfire.com. The District also would appreciate receiving notice of the filing of any completed development permit application so that it can connect with the developer regarding the fire impact fee, and avoid any developer surprise that may result if they are not apprised of the fire impact fee until after the building permit is issued. The District greatly values its relationship with the County, and appreciates the County's cooperation in helping the District provide the high quality emergency services that its citizens deserve. A copy of the proposed Impact Fee Schedule setting forth these amounts is attached as Attachment A ("Impact Fee Schedule"); WHEREAS, the District's Board of Directors has determined it is in the best interests of the District and the citizens and property it serves to establish a Fire Impact Fee and approve the attached Impact Fee Schedule. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Fort Lupton Fire Protection District that: 5925 515.1 I. The Impact Fee Schedule attached as Attachment A is hereby adopted and approved; 2.
