It has come to our attention that the January 20, 2016 Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Database for Weld County,
CO and Incorporated areas contains data for the Town of Erie that should not be present. This Notice -to -User
removes that data as described in the table below.
Note: The FIRM panels and Flood Insurance Study are unaffected by this correction.
Please replace any previously received or downloaded copies of the FIRM Database by visiting the Map Service
Center (MSC) site (httas://msc.fema.ov). While at the MSC site, please replace any previously downloaded copies
of the National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL) datasets for this county; the NFHL is the national repository of FIRM
Databases.
If you have questions or concerns about the corrected FIRM Database, please contact the FEMA Mapping and
Insurance eXchange (FMIX) at (877) 336-2627 or by email at FEMA-FMIX@fema.dhs.gov.
Description of Correction(s)
All floodplain boundaries, flood elevation data, and base map data submitted for the Town of
FIRM Database for
08123C Erie within Weld County have been removed from the FIRM Database. This data is included
on the printed FIRM panels for informational purposes only.
