Please be advised that on June 2, 2025, Weld County Public Works, whose address and telephone number
are 1111 H St. P.O. Box 758, Greeley, CO 80632; (970) 400-3722, filed an application for a Surety Release
Request (SL -2) to M2005060, Ashbaugh Gravel Pit, which is located approximately 10 miles Southwest of
New Raymer, Section 15, Township 7N, Range 59W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Full/final release of 139.60 acres.
Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained
from Nikie Gagnon at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215
Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 527-1640.
Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the
application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision
on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.

Please be advised that on August 19, 2019, Weld County Public Works, whose address and
telephone number are 1111 H St. P.O. Box 758, Greeley, CO 80632; (970) 304-6496, submitted
a request for full reclamation responsibility release for the Ashbaugh Gravel Pit, Permit No. M-
2005-060. The construction materials extraction operation is located at or near Section 15,
Township 7N, Range 59W, 6 Principal Meridian, in Weld County.
Written comments or objections to the release may be submitted to, and additional information
