Action of the Board Concerning Change of Zone, COZ24-0008, from the R-1 (Low
Density Residential) Zone District to the A (Agricultural) Zone District —
Suzanne Lilly, Gerry Ball, and Patricia Conlon
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 26th day of
February, 2025, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose
of hearing the application of Suzanne Lilly, Gerry Ball, and Patricia Conlon,
2781 AA Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for Change of Zone, COZ24-0008, from the
R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zone District to the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the
following described real estate, to -wit:
E1/2 SW1/4 and the W1/2 SE1 /4 of Section 24; and Lot B of
Recorded Exemption, RE -2485, being part of the E1/2 NW1/4 of
Section 25, all located in Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
Whereas, at said hearing, the applicant was not present, and
Whereas, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of staff for a continuance and, having been fully informed, finds that
this request be approved, and the matter should be continued to May 7, 2025, at
10:00 a.m., to allow for sufficient notice to be published for the matter to be heard by the
Planning Commission.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to May 7, 2025,
at 10:00 a.m.

Hope you are well. Unfortunately, the legal notice that was sent out included the February hearing dates not the
March hearing dates therefore this case was not properly noticed. We will have to send out another legal notice
and schedule this Change of Zone for April 1st (no joke) and a BOCC hearing date 3-5 weeks later. Are there any
Wednesdays in late April/early May that you will be unavailable?
