STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
PROJECT S 0119 (15)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the State Highway
Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated January 28, 1970, whereby
the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated to
govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project S 0119 (15) of
improvements approximately 2.122 miles long, beginning at' the Boulder/Weld
County line and extending easterly on State Highway Number 119, as per terms
of said agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures of the Board, said
agreement is hereto attached and made a part of this resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 28th day of January
19" , by and between the County of Weld party of the
first part, and the STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS-
STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Division has constructed, or proposes to con-
struct, or provide for the construction of a project known as
Project S 0119(15) approximately 2.122 miles long beginning
at the Boulder/Weld county line and extending easterly
on State Highway No. 119 in the County and
WHEREAS, The said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid
Secondary System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Chapter 1 of Title 23,
U.S.C. , the Parties have jointly agreed that this project having been
designed and/or constructed to the appropriate Design Standards and
Specifications, as determined by the Design Traffic Volume which was '
developed in accordance with approved and established practices, and the
above having current approval of the Bureau of Public Roads do hereby
agree to furtherance of this project to completion in accordance with
established practices of the Division of Highways-State of Colorado.
In accordance with provisions as stated in 120-13-6 of Colorado
Revised Statutes the State Highway Commission intends to abandon all
portions of the existing highway which may result from any relocation
involved in connection with this project. Commission action will be
taken as soon as is practical after the relocated highway is completed and open to public travel.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit
of the Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on
behalf of the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of
the Board of County Commissioners held on January 28, 1970
a certified copy of which is attached hereto.

"RESOLVED, That this Board hereby approves a certain Agreement with •
the STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS-STATE OF COLORADO,
dated January 28 , 1970 \,whereby the County has reviewed and approved
the Geometric Standards designated to govern the construction of a Federal
