UNIVERSITY BULLOGS DAY
FEBRUARY 12, 2025
WHEREAS, the University Bulldogs porno team competed in the 2024 state championship
on December 14th at the Denver Coliseum; and
WHEREAS, the Bulldogs took home the Class 2A/3A state championship behind a
performance that earned them 84.4 points, just enough to claim the title. The championship
is the porn program's sixth in school history and second in three years; and
WHEREAS, the consistent success of the University pours team has elevated the awareness
surrounding dance and garnered the sport recognition for the athletic ability and timing it
requires. This season's state championship victory also garnered Gina Shepard Coach of the
Year honors from the Colorado High School Activities Association; and
WHEREAS, only team members, parents and coaches truly know the work that went into
this season. However, we do know traits like teamwork and dedication are critical to
success, and we're proud to see our young people apply each when striving toward a goal.
The state championship and this proclamation will forever memorialize that the goal was
achieved, and we hope every team member remembers they are capable of great things.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of Weld County Commissioners
that the 12th day of February 2025, be known as University Bulldogs Day. We appreciate
the opportunity to recognize the poms team, coaches and parents on a memorable
accomplishment.
