Girardi RE: Korwell Dirt - File No. M-2022-034, Korwell Land Holdings, LLC Acreage Release Request (AR -2) Korwell Dirt Acerage Reduction Please be advised that on May 15, 2025, Korwell Land Holdings, LLC, whose address and telephone number are 6600 W 20th Street Unit 20, Greeley, CO 80634; (970) 518-6205, filed an application for a/an Acreage Release Request (AR- 2) to M2022034, Korwell Dirt, which is located approximately 2.5 miles East of Gilcrest, CO, Section 25, Township 4N, Range 66W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. Korwell Land Holdings, LLC sold parcel number 105725300019, which constitutes the northeast 38.80 acres of the permit area to DCP Operating Company, LP. The Operator has revised the mining plan to no longer mine this portion of the permit area, has reclaimed the parcel according to the approved reclamation plan, and are requesting to release the parcel from the permit area. Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Chris M. Girardi at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 793-3041. Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.
