A public hearing was conducted on January 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Chair
Commissioner Scott K. James, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Jason S. Maxey
Commissioner Lynette Peppler
Commissioner Kevin D. Ross - Excused
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jan Warwick
Deputy County Attorney, Karin McDougal
Department of Planning Services Representative, Maxwell Nader
Department of Public Health and Environment Representative, Lauren Light
The following business was transacted:
EI I hereby certify that pursuant to a Notice dated November 18, 2024, and duly
published November 20, 2024, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted
on January 8, 2025, to consider the request of the Colorado State Land Board, c/o
Pivot Solar 45, LLC, and Pivot Solar 55, LLC, for Use by Special Review Permit,
USR24-0024, for a Solar Energy Facility (SEF) outside of subdivisions and historic
townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing, the Board continued the
matter to January 29, 2025, to allow the applicant adequate time to address the concerns
of a surrounding property owner. Karin McDougal, Deputy County Attorney, made this a
matter of record.
El Maxwell Nader, Department of Planning Services, requested a continuance to
February 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., due to a new haul route being submitted, and staff
requests sufficient time to review the proposal.
IIEJ No public comment was offered regarding the continuance date.
El Bradley Thomas, applicant, stated he believes they can address the new haul route
submitted and answer any questions today. Commissioner James explained Weld County
processes.

El Commissioner James moved to continue this hearing to February 19, 2025,
at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Peppier, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:31 a.m.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Hearing Certification, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following
vote on the 12th day of February, A.D., 2025:
