PASS -AROUND TITLE: Flexential Disaster Recovery Site

Brief description of the problem/issue:
As part of Weld County's Disaster recovery environment, the Flexential hosted data center is critical to the
resilience of Weld County's recovery operations. The current agreement with Flexential has ended, and the
Information Technology department recommends extending the agreement. The Information Technology
department has reviewed the agreement and recommends renewing our agreement with Flexential and retaining
Flexential as the Disaster Recovery site at a monthly reoccurring fee of $4,083.60. The agreement has been
reviewed by legal.
What options exist for the Board?
Consequences:
Information Technology requests authorization for the chair to sign the agreement to provide continued
Disaster Recovery hosting through Flexential,
Impacts:
If the agreement is not signed, an alternate Disaster Recovery site will be identified.
Costs (Current Fiscal Year / Ongoing or Subsequent Fiscal Years):
$49,003.20 Annual Cost.
Recommendation:
Information Technology recommends that the Board grant approval for the Chair to sign the attached
agreement.
