Approve Reappointments to Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the terms for a certain positions on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board
will soon expire, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Katherine Broderius, Valeria Ortiz, Ruth Leitel, DeAnn Cure, and Lynn Young to said
board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2028.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Katherine Broderius, Valeria Ortiz, Ruth Leitel, DeAnn Cure, and
Lynn Young be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory
Board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2028.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 29th day of January, A.D., 2025:

Scott K. James, Pro -Tern: Aye
Jason S. Maxey: Aye
Lynette Peppier: Aye
Kevin D. Ross: Excused
