This notice is being provided in accordance with C.R.S. § 32-1-1002(1)(d.5) to advise you that the Fort
Lupton Fire Protection District ("District") Board of Directors ("Board") intends to adopt a Resolution
establishing an impact fee schedule.
The Board is permitted to adopt an impact fee schedule at levels no greater than necessary to defray the
reasonable impacts on the District's existing capital facilities that are directly related to proposed
construction within the District's jurisdiction. Such impact fee levels have been determined by the District's
December 4, 2024 Impact Fee Study conducted by BBC Research and Consulting.
The Board accepted the Impact Fee Study on January 30, 2025; however, the Board proposes to establish
an impact fee schedule in 2025 at 20% of the amounts supported by the Impact Fee Study, and thereafter to
increase the impact fees at a rate of 2% per year for a period of 5 years, to reacts 30% of the amounts
supported by the Impact Fee Study in 2030. Specifically, the maximum fees that may be established under
the Impact Fee Study as compared to the fees actually proposed to be established are:

The Board will consider adoption of the impact fee schedule at a public meeting to be conducted at 7:00
p.m. on April 24, 2025. In accordance with C.R.S. § 32-1-1002(l)(d.5), Weld County has the opportunity
to submit comments regarding the proposed impact fee schedule prior to the public meeting at which
adoption of the impact fee schedule will be considered. Please direct the County's comments to the Board
